Terms & Conditions

Estimate Validity. This estimate is valid for 30 days from the date above. Prices are subject to change after expiration.

Payment. Down payment may not exceed $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is less, per California Business & Professions Code §7159. Balance due upon completion unless a progress payment schedule is agreed in writing.

Scope of Work. Contractor is responsible only for the work described in this estimate. Any additional work requires a written change order signed by both parties before work begins, per BPC §7159.

Pre-Existing Conditions. Contractor is not responsible for pre-existing leaks, structural defects, plumbing issues, electrical problems, or damage not caused by Contractor's work. Any pre-existing conditions discovered during work will be documented and reported to Owner before proceeding.

Fish & Livestock. Contractor will exercise reasonable care with all fish, amphibians, and aquatic life during service. However, Contractor is not liable for fish mortality, illness, or stress resulting from pre-existing water quality, disease, or conditions beyond Contractor's control. Temporary holding during pond work is at Owner's risk.

Landscaping & Surroundings. Reasonable care will be taken with surrounding plants, hardscape, and landscape. Minor disturbance of adjacent areas may occur during equipment transport and pond access. Contractor is not liable for damage to areas outside the immediate work zone.

Warranty. Contractor warrants labor and workmanship for 30 days from completion. Manufacturer warranties apply to all installed equipment and materials. No warranty is provided for biological outcomes (water clarity, algae growth, plant survival, fish health) as these depend on ongoing maintenance and environmental conditions.

Cancellation. Owner may cancel this contract within three (3) business days of signing per California Civil Code §1689.7. Written notice of cancellation may be mailed to the Contractor at the address above.

Insurance. Contractor carries commercial general liability insurance and is bonded. CA Contractor License #1026401.

Formal Contract. For projects exceeding $500, a formal Home Improvement Contract per California BPC §7159 will be provided for signature before work begins.
